Selection procedures
A job analysis is usually conducted prior to the selection
procedures. The process of personnel selection involves collecting
information about the individual(s) so as to determine suitability
for employment in a particular job. Several selection devices
or methods are used to collect this information;
- interviews
- personality tests
- cognitive ability tests
When an applicant is selected and found suitable for employment, he/she will start under a 4 months' temporary employment contract. After that period and given a positive evaluation the contract will be replaced by a fixed contract within ICO.
