ICO is proud to announce the arrival of a brand new, state-of-the-art Liebherr LHM550.
The crane will further amplify ICO’s green image by operating 100% fully electric with the power delivered by ICO’s own 11 wind turbines at the Southern Inlet Terminal.
The crane guarantees lift capacity of 154 ton up to 18m range and becomes the heaviest of its kind in Zeebrugge. It is ideal for handling heavy industrial products, but also for any type of parcel, breakbulk or containers. The unique tool strengthens ICO’s position in the conventional heavy breakbulk and project market but also fully responds to the new trend where RoRo-operators are maximizing heavy duty deck space with high and heavy cargoes.
The majority of the deepsea and shortsea operators as well as barge and rail operators are currently calling the terminals of ICO. The ideal location close to the new A11 motorway also offers congestion free operations. ICO’s trimodal platforms allow shippers and receivers to connect cargo flows between the entire European mainland and all overseas locations through this 1 single point.
